This laptop cart has been quite a project! Getting all of the parts that fit the way I wanted to hold the computers was no easy feat! I needed the cart from IKEA specifically so the middle shelf could be adjusted… and that took about a month to get here. Our school purchased a handful of iPad’s to see how we can start incorporating them into the classrooms.  There are only 3 so far,  and as of right now we are limited to using free apps, once they have been approved for download, so it’s harder to come up with creative ideas for the students.  Even better than iPads for the school, is the news that I have gotten approval to try a pilot program in my room using the Apple TV and a permanently mounted flat screen television.  No more checking to see if the projector is available during

The Beginning

Many years ago, I tried to put together a website where I could document and share the ideas I was using with my class, but time never seemed to be on my side with keeping it updated.  For a few years, I did really well keeping a website up to date for my own class, but as I took on the role of webmaster for my school, that website fell to the wayside as well.  Many of my colleagues have mentioned that I should have a teaching blog, so here it is.  I know how much I appreciate the efforts
